When one Tunnel’s not enough follow the example of this couple of keen gardeners and get one each – His & Hers!
This week we’re looking forward to exhibiting at the Harrogate Spring Show. It’s the 3rd year for Haygrove and Harrogate put on a great spring show! If you’re planning a visit do call by our stand. For more information on the show visit www.flowershow.org.
Well 2 more days & then we get a housepipe ban! The last time we had rain here in Sussex was March 3rd! Last year I set up a 1000 Ltr IBC water storage system which I half filled last Autumn. This has definitely helped with the water situation but even that’s going down fast with no new rain to top it up.
It’s very easy to collect water off the rolled up ventilation sides of a Haygrove Garden Tunnel into water butts. It’s then a matter of pumping from the water butts into the big container using a sump pump. I’m watering asparagus using a trickle feed system which I’m going to extend to water my Toms, melons, peppers etc. That’s the plan anyway…
- it was great to meet so many current customers thrilled with their Haygrove Garden Tunnels, along with a lot of growers wanting to try us out. Our most popular question by far is did you really sit on top of the tunnel!

We’re looking forward to The Edible Garden Show later this week (16th – 18th March) at Stoneligh Park, Warwick. If you’re coming to the show, we look forward to seeing you on the Haygrove Stand in Hall 1. It was a great show last year & promises to be even better in 2012 – it’s inside so you don’t have to worry about a sudden Spring shower!
